Command Post A5

Buried underground deep in the forests of Eastern Germany lies an abandoned bunker complex of the East German People's Army. In the event of a war against NATO, it would have been the command post of the 5th East German Army. This army would have been assembled out of various regiments as well of the East German Army as Soviet Army artillery regiments. The 5th Army would have been equipped with nuclear weapons that were stored in a nearby nuclear weapons depot.

The bunker complex consists of at least six bunkers. The four smaller undergound bunkers have two floors with a grond-level entry way.

The large communications bunker has been turned into a bat hotel.
