In the year 2002, the end came for three large construction companies in the Northeast of Germany.
They all belonged to the consortium of a businessman from Bremen.
All three companies were operating rather successfully, and the order books were full. The didn't need to be closed. But the time wasn't good for the economy overall and in Germany, the construction sector was particularly affected. So in fear of a further economic decline, banks cancelled existing credits and the companies went bankrupt.
This company was the last of the three to file for bankruptcy.
